This book is a really interesting story about how a strange challenged boy named Christopher John Francis Boone, who has an amazing IQ, but doesn't understand other people. I could relate to that, because sometimes I feel smart, but when I talk to other people, I can't understand much about them. I feel like its harder to talk to, or deal with others. I'm also shy a lot, like the main character. When he finds a dead dog with a fork in its throat, he is immediately blamed by his neighbor, Mrs. Shears. I feel like sometimes I'm blamed for things that I didn't do. And I'm worried that something bad will happen, and I'll be blamed for it. Because of his autism, Christopher is confused a lot, and even though I don't have autism, sometimes I get confused about plethora of things. Christopher tells something called a white lie, where he tells the truth but not the entire truth. I tell white lies a lot, because I feel its better than just lying. He detests the color yellow, and sometimes I detest random things, something like phobia. I am mostly different for the protagonist Christopher, but I also could relate to him throughout the story.

I think that Christopher does a lot of funny things, maybe because of his autism. He behaves “differently” than “normal” people. For example when he saw the dead dog, he started hugging it, and getting the blood everywhere. I wouldn't do that, because its disgusting, and people might think I was weird, or I had killed the dog. He hit a policeman which I thought was kind of unnecessary, but because of his disorder, I guess I can't blame him. However I would think he acted irresponsible, because although everybody told him to mind his own business (What I would do!), he insisted on figuring out the case about the murdered dog. I guess it turned out in the end, but I found his actions a little funny. Maybe he did the right thing though.
