Dear Diary,
These few days were absolutely horrible, but I think it worked out in the end. After I told Christopher that I'd killed Wellington, he ran away, I was horrified. It all started when Christopher found the dead body of the dog. When he found it he insisted in figuring out who killed it. Since it was me, I told him to mind his own business, and not play detective. Unfortunately for everybody, he ignored me and continued to pester everybody. I was cautious, but I just let him alone for a while, after he stopped asking people. Imagine my surprise when I saw the book he was writing, that included his many attempts to identify the killer!
At fist I was shocked, then I was furious, and punched him. I regret it now, but anyways I did it. I gave him my apology, and took him to the zoo, but I'm not sure that helped. Afterward he found my carefully concealed letters, letters for his mother. After my wife abandoned me, I was so upset that I hid her letters to her son. But although I hid it well, he still found it and revealed the truth. Realizing I couldn't live with him, hiding so many secrets I told him that I, his father had killed wellington. And so he ran away. With the fear of losing my only son, I rushed after him and sought to bring him back. I did locate him, but he didn't want to come back. Many days later I finally managed to convince him that I was still his father.
