Question UNO #1: Which character would you like to be like? In what way? Why?
Response UNO #1: I think I would enjoy being more like Christopher, but also less like him in certain ways. I think that's because there's actually nobody whose perfect, everybody has flaws, but some people are either very fortunate (Or Unfortunate) or put in a certain amount of effort, and get what they deserve. I think that justifies that I would love to have Christopher's unrealistic memorization, and IQ but I wouldn't particularly enjoy being autistic. At the same time Christopher had to deal with a very hard part of his life, and he was “blissfully” ignorant of some of the hurtful things that other people had done. However I certainly wouldn't want to be autistic.
Now I “hands down” would want his memorization. Imagine how high my GPA would be! And not just school! With his IQ/impossibly intelligent brain, I would succeed in everything. I could relive my favorite parts of life, and much more. Who wouldn't like a better memory. On the downside you would remember a lot of bad things too, but Christopher kind-of has an auto-refresh and a filter that could be useful. I would want the IQ, because there's a lot of tough competition for certain collages, and jobs, and I think it would give me the “edge”. Overall I might not want to be Christopher, but most people could use his abilities.
Question Dos #2: What does the book make you wonder about? Why?
Response Dos #2: I wonder about a lot of things in life (When I'm bored). I would wonder about whether there's actually kids like Christopher, kids who cannot understand jokes. I bet that I could find out on Google (You can learn about almost anything on Google), but since I'm too lazy, I'm still wondering about that. I want to know, because it's intriguing, I'm not sure why. I wonder what type of genes would create somebody who can't understand jokes. Maybe 2 hilarious comedians. I wondered who killed the dog, until I found out that Christopher's own dad did! I'm curious about the A level math test, and maybe I should consider taking it later in life.
