I have not read anything (Because I have already finished the book 2 weeks ago)

Question #1: . I wonder why the author…

Response: I thought this book was great, but I wonder why the author did some of this things he did. For instance, I wondered why the author decided to make Christopher (The Protagonist) autistic yet smart. I think he made Christopher autistic, because it would make the story unique, but I kind-of wonder why he made Christopher actually, really smart. As I read the book I realized that his intelligence may have helped him a lot, considering that he had many circumstances, where his brain helped him. I also wonder about why the author desired to include profanity in this book. I thought that it was a kids book!

Even if it was an adult book, I don't think that it did anything except emphasize the point. For example, when Mrs. Shears, the person who owned the dog (Wellington) saw her dog dead, and all covered in blood, she began to cuss at Christopher who she believed killed her dog. With all the emotion in this book, and adult stuff, I could see why the author used some profanity. That makes me wonder if this book is a kids book, or an adult's book. I should ask people who read this book of their opinion.

Question #2: Which character would you like (or not like) to be your friend? Why?

Response: I thought it would be interesting if Christopher was my friend, because we could both teach each other things. I could teach him (Or try to teach him) about similes, metaphors and other things, and he could teach me stuff like math. At the same time, I also wouldn't like him to be my friend, because he might not like me, and he has a phobia with other people. So I would want him to be my friend, if we could get along, but I wouldn't want him to be my friend, if he hated me. It would be interesting to have a kid like Christopher in my school, but also he might get made fun of, or people might be mean to him. Overall, I think its best that I didn't know somebody like Christopher, however I wonder how life would be like with him around.
